eGo-T Starter Kit Review

For the past few months, I’ve been boning up on what I know about e-cigarettes so that I could make an intelligent, informed decision when I finally decide to buy. I’ve seen e-cigarettes that look like cigarettes, some that look like pens, a few that you have to drip e-juice into, and a lot that you can refill with a tank. And, because I was willing to write a review on them, I was able to try out each and every one of these e-cigarettes for free. The eGo-T starter kit isn’t perfect but it is one of the best electronic cigarettes I’ve had the privilege of vaping. Let’s break it down into the following categories: ease of use, functionality, appearance, and cost.

Ease Of Use

In my opinion, if it takes two hours to put an e-cigarette together, it’s not worth your time. Thankfully, putting the eGo-T together was a breeze. I had everything together in a matter of minutes. All you have to do is screw the cartomizer onto the battery, fill the tank with your favourite e-juice, push the tank into the atomiser until you hear a click, and you’re good to go. There’s no hassle involved in smoking it either. It’s virtually the same as a cigarette.

Functionality

Once the piece was assembled, I was really impressed with the amount of vapour it produced. I was covered in a cloud of vapour in a matter of moments and the vapour production didn’t go down as I continued to vape. The flavour was very dull, though, and the throat hit was really inadequate (for my tastes, anyway). There are a lot of different e-juices you can buy or you can even make your own. I can’t say whether or not it was the juice I was using, though, so the flavour may be better for you.

Appearance

I personally really like the look of the eGo-T. It’s black, sleek, and stylish with a good weight and a “James Bond” kind of feel to it. It doesn’t look like a cigarette but it almost feels like one when you hold it so it’s perfect for those of you trying to quit smoking by switching to e-cigarettes.

Cost

The cost of the unit isn’t too bad but the cost of the replacement atomisers can add up after a while. That’s only because the simpler, more compact design of the eGo-T requires that more stresses are placed on the atomiser. They’re fairly simple to clean, though, and can really last a long time (some people have used the same cartridge for over six months without getting a replacement).

In conclusion … If you’re looking for a simple to use, highly functional e-cigarette starter kit, the eGo-T is a great choice.
